I'm trying to connect my xbox 360 wireless headset to my windows 7 laptop, I have paired the device but it insists not to connect. I have followed instructions on the headset and it should be working, but it still doesn't connect, how can I make it connect? The "Allow a device to connect" is greyed out and can't be selected.

May 21, 2007 · first you need to bridge the connections. plug in the ethernet cable into the port on the laptop and in the back of the xbox. next make sure you are connected to the wireless connection. now click, start, control panel, network connections (make sure your in classic view)

What I do is use a Linksys WRT54GL router running Tomato firmware and have a wireless bridge set up. This way, I have my desktop PC, PS3, and 360 hooked up through a wired connection to the WRT54GL, which in turn uses wireless to connect to the other router, which has the WAN feed.
